Pistacia vera (Pistachio) – 10 seeds from Turkey
Pistacia vera originates from warm, dry regions such as Turkey, Syria or California.
Please keep seeds and packaging material away from small children (risk of choking and suffocation).
The seeds come from a collection from October 2024 in Turkey.
To germinate the seeds, it is recommended that they are first placed in a water bath for 24 hours.
They are then placed in a moist (not wet, not dripping) mixture of soil and sand. It is best to refrigerate them for 40-50 days, they should also be placed outside for a few/different (!) nights (in case of frost). It is recommended to always check if they germinate. After the procedure: In the spring, put in plant pots and grow in a sunny place. However, be careful: young seedlings need slightly shady places in midsummer.
