It prefers deep, sandy soil in damp areas.
The willow leaf acacia lives symbiotically with nodule bacteria (Rhizobiaceae) and can thus bind nitrogen from the air. It can conquer new habitats very quickly, as the young plants grow extremely fast.

Cupressus sempervirens (Mediterranean cypress) is mainly found in the eastern Mediterranean region (Greece), but also grows in Lebanon and Iran.

The pleasant-smelling and easy-to-work wood has a fine structure. The wood was and is valued for its durability. Among other things, ships, statues of gods, temple doors and sarcophagi were made from it. The tree can grow up to 35 meters high.

Juniperus oxycedrus (prickly juniper) is a cedar plant that is resistant to global warming and is also known as cedar juniper. This plant grows as a shrub or small tree and can grow up to 8 meters tall. The needle-shaped leaves are sharply pointed.
